Moderate threats may profile users online habits or broadcast data back to a server with 'opt-out' permission. In most cases this type of threat is more along the lines of commercial type adware that offer a premium service in exchange for tracking your user online performance.
||The Sony DRM Rootkit is used to hide the copyright protection installed by certain music CD's manufactured and distributed by Sony BMG. This software can also be used by attackers to hide their malicious actions.
This Anti-Spyware tool will only remove the cloaking capability of the Sony XCP software. After cleaning, a re-boot is required in order to reveal the previously hidden files, directories or registry keys.
