Slotch Bar is part of Integrated Search Technologies Toolbarcash program. The Toolbarcash program deploys 2 toolbars, XXXToolbar which is the adult version of the Slotch bar and Slotch Bar wich does not contain explicit adult content per sey. Toolbarcash pays affiliate websites to distribute the Slotch Bar via an ActiveX drive by download.

Toolbarcash pays 0.15$ per installs of its toolbar to affiliate sites that host its toolbar install.

Slotch Bar hijacks Internet Explorer searches and directs searches through

"- Active-x installation with auto-prompt :
You can have the active-x window pop up when the surfer clicks on a link,
an image, etc. or you can have have it automatically pop when the surfer
visits or leaves a page

- Persistant retry
Prompt surfers multiple times to install the toolbar. Improves install ratios.

- Content protection feature
This code can be used if you want to protect some content on your site by making the installation of the toolbar mandatory to view your content. You can protect movies, images, urls, everything is possible. The surfer will only be taken to your content if they have the toolbar installed."
